Ministry of Defence has recently announced the recruitment for various posts at
Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area, Island Grounds, Chennai-600009, and Station

the post of LDC, the selection process includes a Tier-I written test,
consisting of four papers with a total time allowed for the written examination
of 60 minutes. The maximum marks for each paper are also provided.
After
clearing the written test, candidates for the post of LDC will have to undergo
a Tier-II selection process, which consists of two sessions. The first session
has two sections with a total time allowed of 2 hours and 15 minutes, while the
second session is a typing test for English or Hindi typing at a speed of 35
words per minute and 30 words per minute, respectively.
The
appointment for the selected candidates will initially be on a temporary basis,
which is likely to become permanent after successful completion of a
probationary period of two years. The initial appointment will be at
Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area, Island Grounds, Chennai-600009, and Station
Headquarters, Chennai-600009. However, the individual is likely to be posted
anywhere in India as the posts are subject to all India Service Liability,
including field service.
