Integral
Coach Factory (ICF) Recruitment 2023 has announced a job vacancy for 15
Erstwhile Group-D (Level-1) posts. The notification was released on 17th
February 2023, and the last date to apply for the same is 13th March 2023.

ICF
is a premier production unit of Indian Railways that manufactures railway
coaches and other rolling stock. It is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and was
established in 1955. The Erstwhile Group-D (Level-1) posts in ICF are temporary
positions, and candidates selected for the same will be appointed for a
specific period.
Eligibility
To
be eligible for the Erstwhile Group-D (Level-1) posts in ICF, candidates must
meet the following criteria:
Age
Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of 1st January
2023. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per the government
rules.
Educational
Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th standard or equivalent
examination from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates must have
completed ITI or obtained a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted
by NCVT.
Pay Scale
The
selected candidates for the Erstwhile Group-D (Level-1) posts in ICF will be
paid in the Level-1 of VIIth CPC Pay Matrix, which is approximately Rs.5,200/-
to Rs.20,200/-.
Application Fee
Candidates
applying for the Erstwhile Group-D (Level-1) posts in ICF need to pay an
application fee of Rs.500/- if they belong to the general category. Candidates
belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PwBD/Women/Minorities and EBC categories need
to pay an application fee of Rs.250/-.
Selection Process
The
selection process for the Erstwhile Group-D (Level-1) posts in ICF will be done
on the basis of Trials and Interviews. Candidates who are shortlisted based on
their applications will be called for the Trials, which will be conducted to
test their proficiency in the relevant trade. Candidates who clear the Trials
will be called for the Interview, which will be conducted to assess their
communication skills, general knowledge, and aptitude.
