The Tamil Nadu government has recently announced the release of new Samacheer Kalvi books for the 2022-2023 academic year for fourth standard students. These revised books have been updated with improved syllabus and patterns in each subject and are expected to provide practical knowledge to the students.
TNSCERT has taken responsibility for preparing the new books with suitable chapters and pictures to explain the concepts in a better way. The school teachers are expected to maintain the students' performance and learning progress using the handbook available at www.textbooksonline.tn.nic.in.
The government aims to improve the students' learning skills by providing them with a strong foundation in the basics of major subjects such as Tamil, English, Maths, Science, and Social Science. This will help them perform better in Secondary and Higher Secondary classes. With this new system in place, the government is committed to providing a better learning experience for the students of Tamil Nadu.
